Beautiful and Unique

Nestled on the borders of Lancashire, North Yorkshire and Cumbria, halfway between Lancaster and Kendal and only 10 minutes drive from the popular tourist town of Kirkby Lonsdale, lies Stonegate Glass Studio and Gallery.

The Gallery is set in an 18th century barn in the heart of the quiet village of Low Bentham, popular with walkers for beautiful views and tranquil riverside walks.

Alongside the gallery is the studio where Gary and Annette McMillan design and make beautiful and unique works of art in glass, from small commissions to large installations.

The Gallery is not only a showcase for Stonegate Glass but a great place to find contemporary designer crafts, fine art and jewellery. It is the perfect place to buy gifts, wedding presents and quality art pieces to admire for years to come.

Local and Beyond

Although much of our stained glass windows, kilnformed glass splashbacks and fused glass art is commissioned by customers in the surrounding towns and cities of Kendal, Lancaster and Kirkby Lonsdale, we often work in the Lake District towns of Windermere and Ambleside and indeed most of Cumbria, Lancashire and North Yorkshire. However you just need to look through our portfolios to see that we make and send work all over the United Kingdom.
